Raleigh, a Swanton native and Missisquoi Valley Union standout, built a storied career defined by power, versatility, and consistency. At Western Carolina University, he became a record-setting All-American, earning Southern Conference Player of the Year honors in 1992 while rewriting the program’s record books in hits, home runs, and RBIs. His impact extended beyond college, with a decade-long professional playing career followed by influential coaching roles, including helping develop future MLB stars and earning a World Series ring as a hitting instructor in 2003.
